This is the Strongest Magick Archer Build available in Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen!

LVL 1 ~ 10 as a MAGE, then LVL 11 ~ 200 as a SORCERER (866 base Magick)

Items:

Weapon: Blackwing Bow (Gold Dragonforged) and ANY Dagger.
Head: Diadem (+10 Magick).
Torso: Trophy Jacket (+20 Magick) and Marshal’s Bracers (+5 Strength).
Arms: Trophy Bracers (+20 Magick).
Legs: Trophy Boots (+30 Magick).
Rings: Master Ring (Up to +100 Magick) and Magick Archer’s Band (Sixfold Bolt/Explosive Rivet).
OBS: Don’t forget to carry a Wyrmking’s Ring in your inventory in order to speedup spell casting time (10% faster).

Augments:

Bloodlust: +20% Magick/Strength and less damage taken at night.
Attunement: +10% Magick.
Acuity: +20% Magick.
Autonomy: +20% Magick/Strength when traveling alone (no pawns).
Articulacy: Diminishes time required to intone spells (10% faster).

OBS: You can buy the Blackwing Bow from BBI Weapon Lvl 3. You can get Diadem from a vendor in Everfall (postgame), Trophy Armor Set from BBI Armor Lvl 2 and from completing quests in BBI Area, Marshal’s Bracers can be bought at the Black Cat’s Store, Sovereign’s Mantle from BBI Armor lvl 2, Master Ring and Magick Archer’s Band from BBI Gear lvl 3. [Dragon’s Dogma] Solo Sorcerer Demonstration

These solo demonstrations are done using a maxlevel character, without any pawns, and using unoptimized equipment loadouts. Most builds here are aiming for around 1000 in the strength or magick attack stats for their weapons, and have outfits basically comprised of what I think looks good.

General Verdict
Sorcerer’s most fun spells (the huge, destructive ones unique to this vocation) require some pretty express guard by allies in order to get off, which makes soloplay of a sorcerer a lot drier than it usually is with other vocations. A sorcerer can attempt to make openings by using Lassitude, or with a Torporeffect Archistaff (i.e. Rusted Archistaff). Inversely the most effective way to solo as a Sorcerer might just be equipping a full set of enchantment spells and one last support option like Voidspell or Miasma and just spam Focus Bolts on everything this takes the most advantage of the Sorcerer’s higher Magick stat in comparison to the Mage, which would allow highdamage, stunning barrages to basically dominate against every enemy type.
Possible Improvements
I’m being purposefully a bit more flashy in this demonstration than I probably should be, preparing more spells than necessary, and Bolide in particular didn’t help at all. Again, in reality I could probably just be spamming focus bolts on my enemies until death but that’s way less fun or indicative of what a sorcerer does, compared to the option of summoning meteors or tornadoes. All that said, I probably should’ve waited until the angry Cyclopes stopped running around madly in order to attempt Lassitude casts, and realized perhaps a bit too late that I’d need to remove the helmet on the Cyclops to get it vulnerable to my spells.
