ICDI has committed, in both the academic programs and researches, to keeping up with innovations whereby digital technologies are being utilized to enhance the innovations. Blockchain technology, one of the most disruptive technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution, has been used to address many social issues besides finance.
On 24th May 2019, ICDI together with Chiang Mai Chamber of Commerce and … hosted the Blockchain international conference “Reforming a Society with Blockchain” at the International Convention Hall, Grandview Hotel, Chiang Mai. It was rightly said that it was the first blockchain international conference ever organized by the academic institute. Most importantly, it was the international blockchain conference where ICDI invited the speakers who are nationally and internationally wellknown in their own business, notably, Dr. Jemma Green, Cofounder and Chair of Power Ledger, Perth, Australia, Jirayut Sarpsrisopa, Cofounder and CEO of Bitkub Group, Dr. Nipon Poapongsakorn Former Director of TDRI
The conference was successful, in that ICDI welcomed the attendants from a variety of professions and interests, all together 262 registered.

การประกวดดาวเดือนเพื่อเฟ้นหาบุคคลที่เหมาะสม ในการเป็น CMU AMBASSADOR 2017 และร่วมเป็นกำลังใจให้กับน้องๆผู้เข้าประกวด ทั้ง 42 คนจาก 20 คณะ 1 วิทยาลัย
กิจกรรมจัดขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 4 พฤศจิกายน 2560 ณ หอประชุมใหญ่ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่
